As a former fitness trainer and now Physiotherapist, Joey is a strong believer in the power of comprehensive treatment teamed with effective rehab to achieve physical recovery. After working as part of a Military rehabilitation team previously, Joey witnessed how exercise and positive Physio engagement helped her clients recover faster and stronger. Now as a musculoskeletal Physio, Joey implements an individualized treatment approach combining manual therapy, therapeutic techniques (functional dry needling, cupping), patient education and specific exercise prescription to restore patient health, function and confidence; allowing patients to return to pain free lifestyles/activities.

For Joey, the aim of each treatment session is to reduce patient discomfort, improve joint function/tissue mobility and then work towards re-establishing appropriate movement patterns assisting to minimize the likelihood of injury re-occurrence. Joey believes that a healthy and balanced body is the key to success, commencing with feeling positive, both physically and mentally. Over the years, Joey has continued specific physio training, undergoing additional training in; kinesio taping, dry needling, cupping, Pilates, Sports Physio/trainer courses, hydrotherapy, TMJ/migraines concerns, post-operative orthopaedic rehab, strength and conditioning.
