Once you have had your baby, Physiotherapy can help you with:

  • Blocked Milk Ducts, Cracked Nipples, Mastitis

  • Management of Caesarean scar, perineal tear and episiotomy scars 

  • Continence problems

  • Wrist and thumb pains (eg. Carpel tunnel and Dequervein's Syndrome)

  • Rectus Abdominus Diastasis (Abdominal muscle separation)

  • Pelvic floor and abdominal strengthening

  • Back and pelvic pain

  • Real time Ultrasound is used for assessment and rehabilitation of pelvic floor and abdominal muscles.

  • 6 weeks Physiotherapy check up to return to "normal" duties - include optional internal pelvic floor exam.  

  • POST NATAL PILATES to help you get back into shape and strengthen pelvic floor and abdominal muscles properly

Postnatal Rehabilitation should start early (before 6 weeks check up).  Home visits and online consultations can be arranged to assist with your postnatal recovery.

Postnatal Exercise classes are designed to help regain strength, tone, flexibility and rehabilitate the body after pregnancy. You can go at your own pace and have the option to bring your baby along. 

Mums + Bubs classes are for mums with bubs aged 6 weeks to 12 months old.

Babysitter may be available during classes or you can exercise with your baby!

Classes are rebateable through private health fund, packages are available.

Nutrition is key for healing after birth and essential whilst breastfeeding.   

A well balanced diet can reduce stress levels, increase energy levels and help with reducing feelings of being overwhelmed.


New mums need a plan that is personalised to your personal needs and your family to help keep things simple and practical.


Your dietitian will work with you to find a way that suits your baby's routine, food intolerances, kilojoule requirements and your food preferences. Consultations are available in person or online via Skype.
