What is Real Time Ultrasound?

Real Time Ultrasound (RTUS) is a type of imaging device that Physiotherapists use to allow us to see your muscles in action in real time.  It is a great tool to allow Physiotherapists to check which muscles are working and if you are using your muscles properly during certain movements and activities.

RTUS is performed as an assessment and it is also used as a treatment tool to help retrain muscle imbalance.
